Drug policy

Have you heard of an organization known as the Global Commission on Drug Policy? I never had. Well, it's a 23-person body comprising nine former presidents or prime ministers, plus leaders like former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan. It has just released “Advancing Drug Policy Reform: A new approach to decriminalization.” As you may gather from the organization's name, the report calls for the total abolition of all penalties—criminal, and also civil—for possession for personal use.
