The Protector of The Oceans
Who would have expected George W. Bush to have protected a larger area of the world’s marine environment than protected by any other person in history? I certainly would not have. But he has protected 335,561 square miles of ocean.
"Protecting the oceans" means somewhat more than just signing his name to a piece of paper. Methinks he's more concerned with his legacy, than the environment.
ReplyDeleteApparently, the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument area is worse off now than before being 'protected' in 2006.
