This video is shameful. You're too smart and well-read not to know that the intelligence Colin Powell used at the UN was the SAME intelligence President Clinton used repeatedly to assert that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction. Most of our allies had similar intelligence with the same findings. We were all fooled by that tyrant, as were his countrymen and neighbors. You need to get over your "hate Bush" reflex. Otherwise, what will you blog about in January 2009? Peace.
The WMD's Clinton referred to were chemical weapons, which Saddam admitted he had. Bush and Co led everyone to believe he had, or was at least developing, nuclear weapons - the "smoking gun in the form of a mushroom cloud."
