10 Organizations Are Responsible for 36% of Our Fossil Fuel Emissions

The Carbon Disclosure Project has looked at global fossil fuels emissions since 1988 and asserts that the following ten organizations are responsible for 36% of the emissions.

1. China (Coal): 14.3 percent
2. Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco): 4.5 percent
3. Gazprom OAO (Russian): 3.9 percent
4. National Iranian Oil Co: 2.3 percent
5. ExxonMobil Corp: 2.0 percent
6. Coal India: 1.9 percent
7. Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex): 1.9 percent
8. Russia (Coal): 1.9 percent
9. Royal Dutch Shell PLC (Shell): 1.7 percent
10. China National Petroleum Corp (CNPC): 1.6 percent
