I'd never heard the word, but it's another word for vacationing in the nude. It's a growing business. One survey claims clothes-optional vacations have doubled since 2010. It’s a $440 million-a-year business at 250 resorts nationwide.
There is even an association of resorts that cater only to nudists. Most of the firms belonging to the American Association of Nude Recreation do not welcome voyeurs and swingers.
