What moves Iran?
Ian Welch is Blogging of the President has some sensible thoughts on the country that is now in Bush's sights. The comments to his article are also worth reading.
Welch is quite right. It's not hard to understand Iran, and his appraisal is balanced and, I believe, accurate. It isn't normally difficult to comprehend the reactions of nations if one takes the time to 'reverse the situation' and look at matters through their eyes. Unfortunately, many Americans find it difficult to do this. I believe it is because they are constantly bombarded with the 'them or us' mindset of the popular media who always insist on playing the patriot card at every opportunity.
