Don't the English Courts Have Better Things To Do?
It's been almost ten years. The deaths of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed have been deemed accidents, yet there will be more hearings on the matter in January.

It does seem a drawn out and tedious business, I agree, but under British law a Coroner must conduct an official inquest to pronounce cause of death before legal proceedings can be finally closed. As, until recently, the full facts could not be considered known, the inquest has remained adjourned since August 1997. Only now, with the investigation by former Metropolitan Police chief Lord Stevens finally completed, can the inquest be reopened and, hopefully, concluded.
