I write frequently against hierarchical religions because of the hypocrisy they generate. Pastors like Steve Maki are the truly religious, to be respected, admired, and hopefully emulated. I believe it says much about our present day society, that the first comment on the article you linked to concentrated on admonishing the journalist for her supposedly literary shortfalls, and made no mention whatever of the subject matter. Various other commentators latched on and began a debate. The subject matter of the article became irrelevant. How sick can one become?
