Rear Admiral David B. Woods, the head of the Guantanamo prison, does have his standards. He has made sure that when detainees appear in court they do not wear "clothing that is inconsistent with the decorum and dignity of a
court proceeding whether in the United States or the Middle East." He has also had his staff inspect the correspondence between the detainees and their lawyers; perhaps, the staff might find incriminating statements.
