Our Internet speeds and capabilities have increased over the past few years. We are now ranked among the top ten countries, up from the twenties or thirties. We are still #1 when it comes to costs. We are by far the most expensive. If you lived in Seoul or Paris, you could get a "triple play" bundle
with 100 meg download speeds for around $35 a month. But if you're in
Washington or New York, that triple play will not only cost you three
times as much, your internet with be only one-quarter as fast.
The Internet is becoming as necessary a part of our lives as water and electricity, which are regulated by the government. Why can't the Internet also be regulated?
