A New Definition for Asshole
Supposedly, several Republicans did not vote for the bailout because of Pelosi's speech. I'm not a fan of Madame Speaker but how this speech could cause someone to vote against the bailout is beyond my comprehension.

My sentiments exactly. Like you, I have little time for Madame P, but in that speech she only spoke the truth. Republicans are too full of their own crazy market ideals, and fear of losing their jobs, to vote for this package. Pelosi was just their excuse.
