Robo-Signing a Forgery?

That's what a grand jury in Missouri thinks. They indicted a company, DocX, a division of Lender Processing Services, and its president, Lorraine Brown, yesterday.  This is one of the few criminal indictments for robo-signing. May there be many more. It's one of the few ways that may deter the fraudsters. More importantly, it metes out personal punishment for crimes, another good deterrent. Ms Brown faces up to seven years in prison for each count and these charges contain 136 counts.

Here's a 60 Minutes episode that explains the situation quite well.
