Mario settles
It cost him $130,000,000 but the fraud suit lodged against Mario Gabelli etal is over. R.C. Taylor, the whistleblower who filed the suit, will get $32,200,000.
Justice is seen to be done - though the practice of paying up to avoid jail time is far too common among those who own vast wealth, in my humble opinion.
