This was an interesting sentence: Legal groups have said the case, which has dragged on for two years and involved thousands of hours of legal investigative work, has damaged the image of the US judicial system.
I don't think most people thought highly of the US judicial system prior to this.
Had to really laugh at this little episode. A lady at a rummage sale was telling me about her son's custody battle against his beautiful ex-wife. The judge was actually giddy around the sensational looking woman and hung on her every word but fell asleep when her ex-husband gave his testimony. So much for blind justice.
