Wayne Sapp and Terry Jones: Guilty of Murder?

Eight UN workers were killed today by Afghans who were protesting the burning of the Koran by Messrs. Sapp and Jones. I'm not saying the Afghans were innocents, but clearly Sapp and Jones had been warned about the negative effect their actions denigrating the Koran could have.

How about blaming the Godless heathens who committed the murders and not the two "nobodies" halfway around the world who protested in a non-violent way.

In no way are these two guilty of murder. Stupidity perhaps, but not the deaths in Afghanistan.

I don't see murder by Christians whenever "artists" express their anti christian beliefs with a crucifix in a jar of urine, etc.

We are told to be tollerant and that islam is a religion of "peace", but it seems the only people being told to be tollerant are us. I'm tired of the double standard.

Stupid people have caused the death of innocents before and will again...these idiots were warned!

Considering that 1) These protests would have never taken place if the Koran was not burned. 2) Jones had been warned previously that burning the Koran would cause innocents to be killed. 3) Alabama and Kentucky both have state laws making it illegal to desecrate "venerated objects," Korans included. So is not necessarily protected by the First Amendment. 4) The Southern Poverty Law Center has designated the Dove World Outreach Center a hate group, this can also be a hate crime. You decide if their actions are legal.

Blood is on the hands of these religious NUT CASES. Both in Florida, and Afghanistan. You have only fed the fires of hate.

Despicable as these two self-professed 'pastors' are, they cannot be considered guilty of murder. That crime rests with the fanatics who carried out the attack on the UN center in Afghanistan.

The Koran, like the Bible, is just a book. It's produced by man, printed by man, sold by man. It holds no symbolic significance, except in the screwed-up heads of Muslim extremists.

Sapp and Jones may well be guilty of a hate crime under state laws (I've no idea if such a thing exists in Florida), but the thugs who carried out the heinous crime in Afghanistan were only waiting on some flimsy excuse. Two idiots in Florida handed it to them on a plate.

(Interestingly, Jones was in the same high school class as Rush Limbaugh. Aren't you glad you never attended that school?)

I will give 50$ to whom ever spit or piss in these lunatics faces. Thats all their worth...
I'm not a religious person, but I respect the religions out there and would never desecrate the religious symbols of others in such a seriuos way. Burning a religions holy book is something you just don't do. Whatever religion.
And to all of you that blame Islam. Look at your self, are you an extremist of your own religion? Would you do "anything" to protect your religion? Are you aware of how people tend to act and react when in large united groups?
This is human nature. Respect it!

They knew what they would ignite with their act. They seem to have the same goal as many before them, to empower them self by using religion to polarize the world. I can’t recognize Christianity as I learned to know it in the words and actions of Sapp and Jones, and not the American spirit either.

For the rest of the world it does not matter, freedom of speech or not. As long as you don’t fight the weed it will look like your field of gold is being taken over by people like Sapp and Jones. Do you want them to be your ambassadors to the world?

So, why do I care? Just because yesterday one of our Norwegian officers in Afghanistan paid the price for Sapp and Jones “brave” act….

Sapp and Jones: Next time show some real guts and do it in Kabul, and not on camera hiding somewhere out in the sticks!

Murder is considered "Homicide with malice aforethought"

The murderer must be the actual and proximate cause of the death and he must either have had the intent to kill, intent to commit serious bodily injury, wanton conduct or be committing a felony when the death occurred. All of these would satisfy the malice requirement. You decide if it's murder. I say no!

Food for thought: if it was truly the burning of the Koran in Florida that sparked the killings and not just using this as an excuse for violence, why weren't any of the victims American? Senseless acts of intolerance and ignorance on both sides.

No Americans were targeted because the American consulate was too well protected. So they sought out a second target, the UN building. But their original intent was your consulate.
I wonder what your reactions would be towards Jones and Sapp if it HAD been the Americans being executed because of these two idiots.
