Reality Setting In?

The situation in Egypt does not seem to be getting better. The military is exerting it's power: censoring formal and informal news media and conducting virginity tests  are two areas that are questionable as to how they promote democracy. Sectarian violence and intolerance is increasing: Coptic Christians seem to be under siege as well as being in physical danger. And, historically there appears to be a prejudice against democracy: the past 50 years of dictatorships have not exactly bred the conditions democracies need.
