Reporters' Frenzy

I can't understand the brouhaha by the media with regard to the time it took to report Cheney's shooting of a hunting companion. Why don't the reporters get as excited about some of the really important things Bush and Cheney are doing and not doing? The fuss about the shooting is as weird as the fuss about Britney Spears driving with her baby in her lap. Who cares?

I love hearing about Cheney's blunder as it makes me laugh. All dressed up in their orange vests and all. Sorry, I have to disagree. I do agree about Brittany, however.

I have just commented in similar vein on 'Gadflying'. They were ready to tear Scott McClellan limb from limb over this episode, yet sit meekly by as blunder after blunder is perpetrated over the Iraq War, or Hurricane Katrina.
