Good Spending by the Pentagon

The Pentagon will spend $300,000,000 this fiscal year on research for post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury. Of course, there are a couple of hundred thousand veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan that have these problems. But, at least, the Pentagon is starting to address the end result of our bellicosity.

What a waste! Might as well study why water is wet. Better they spend that 300 million on setting up recovery centers but instead they will come up with some horrible pill that causes lifelong metabolic damage but makes our soldiers into zombies who can't think at all, hence they won't think about Iraq. That is the psychiatric model so I doubt this would be any different. Just more of disaster capitalism.
