One Occupy Site That's Doing Well

There have been numerous confrontations between the authorities and Occupy Wall Street sites across the country, but not in Washington. Occupy Olympia has blended in with its neighbors. The  neighbors have been checking at the site often. Occupy Olympia took up a collection for a merchant who was the victim of a burglary. There is a daily conference call between the authorities and the protesters. The city has continued to maintain the park where the protesters are based; it picks up garbage daily, cleans bathrooms daily and has provided an extra dumpster. Occupy Olympia members have agreed to provide bathroom supplies.

The authorities are somewhat concerned that the park does not turn into a homeless shelter. But, so far, everything is going smoothly.
