That's a line from Jonathan Alter that really encapsulates my feelings about our new President. He's talked a good game, but this reminds me of at least one blind date when I was very young. The girl sounded like a dream over the telephone, but wasn't exactly a great date; in fact, it was a lousy date.
The country has had a love affair with Obama and we all want it to continue. Will it? We really don't know whether he is up to the job. We can only hope and pray that he is and that we all help him succeed.
