Like the college football championship game. That's what Cliff Stearns, a Congressman whose district includes the University of Florida, one of the teams in the championship round, thinks. He has asked Speaker Pelosi to reschedule votes so that he can go to the game, which is being held in Miami.
Isn't Stearns one of those people who got a $4,700 raise as of 1/1 so that his salary is now $169,300? Being a Congressman is hard.
