An Alaskan agency working to help victims of sexual abuse ran a lottery to raise money. Who should win but a convicted sex offender. True, he says that he is trying to turn his life around. One indication of this is his donation to the agency of a significant part of his winnings.
Update: The lottery winner was attacked and beaten fairly severely.
