Reporters vs. Polls

RJ Adams of Sparrow Chat introduced me to Dahr Jamail, who appears to be a truly independent commentator on Iraq. He has a lengthy piece castigating the NY Times for ignoring polling data while relying more than primarily on the opinions of their reporters, most of whom are locked in the Green Zone or deal mainly with the middle class Iraqis.

Again, what is reality?

We can only be sure of one thing: reality is not what those who hold the power would have us believe. Thankfully, there are still journalists like Dahr Jamail who help us achieve a balance. Though, even their words must be scrutinized carefully.
