That is, if the guilty have enough power. That's basically a translation of Obama's idea of "look forward, not backward" with regard to the crimes of the Bush administration. Glenn Greenwald does an excellent job illustrating the problems and weaknesses of refusing to "look backward" in this video which I can't seem to get to work.
