It does get hot in Washington. Many residents who can do leave for cooler climes. But, I'll bet there are people working today in DC, no matter what the weather. These are people who normally work on weekends or people who have problems to solve and want to use as much time as possible to solve them. Our Congressmen and Senators are not such people. They will not be working today unless they are meeting with the Supreme Leader.
Mr. Capuano, a Democrat from Somerville, MA, may have an alternative, "It’s symbolic anyway, We all know there are six people doing this. The rest of us are just out here like a rugby match, pushing and shoving.’’ Then, why don't we get rid of most of the 535 clowns who profess to be working for a better U.S.?
