Oil Does Spill In China

On Friday an oil pipeline exploded in Dalian, China's second largest oil port. Oil leaked into the Yellow Sea and covered about 165 square miles of water. However, that's a small fraction of the BP spill, assuming Chinese officials are telling the truth.

Interestingly, China attacked the problem using "all staff under the age of 50" at its maritime affairs office. They closed the beaches and sent 40 special "oil-skimming" vessels, 800 boats, and oil-eating bacteria to clean up the ocean.

It was reported that operations were normal by Tuesday morning.
